De Phunk Gotti started Products Of My Environment in 1992. P.O.M.E. consisted of DePhunk Gotti and Shay West in '92. Shay West went to jail in Las vegas Nevada for pimping and pandering and is currently serving a life sentence. .... Meanwhile, DePhunk Gotti stayed on the music scene and went on the .."Fuckin' Wit Dank" tour.. from the ..Pooh man "Life Of A Criminal" album.. on F.B.I./In A Minute records. Shortly after that tour, DePhunk Gotti went back on tour with Pooh-Man for the album .."Funky As I Wanna Be".. on Dangerous/Jive records in 1993. ..DePhunk Gotti co-wrote Pooh-Man's album "Judgement Day" ..on Righteous Records/Scarface records. .... In ..1994.. ..DePhunk Gotti reformed P.O.M.E... with P-Funk (a.k.a. Fast Blaq) and 20Sak (formerally of 187Fac). The new P.O.M.E. (now on City Boy Records) made their debut with the song .."Murder Rap" on Pooh-Man's album "Ain't No Love".. on In-A-Minute Records. .... In ..1994.., ..Def Jam Recordings.. A&R rep. Tina Davis offered P.O.M.E. a deal rumored to be in the mid-six figures, but shady management stopped the deal from getting inked. Shortly after that, P.O.M.E. was offered a deal with ..Pookie/Interscope.. under the management of ..Raphael (Tony Toni Tone) Saddiq.., but the contract details forced P.O.M.E. to pass on the offer. .... In ..2004.., P.O.M.E. broke up and DePhunk Gotti left City Boy Records to form ......D.Stone Records Inc....... .... Personally, DePhunk Gotti was born and raised on the tough ....Brookfield Village area of East Oakland, California..... DePhunk Gotti faced tremendous economic hardships that most young men faced in that region. DePhunk Gotti admits that unfortunate lessons were learned the hard way and those valueable lessons kept DePhunk Gotti determined to achieve success in the rap game. .... In ..2003.., DePhunk Gotti made his acting debut in the motion picture .."Is It Worth It (Gangsta Paradise)".. starring Beenie Man and Ninja Man. "Is It Worth It (Gangsta Paradise)" was produced by 3G Films/Bentouttashape Productions. In 2004 he changed his name from DePhunk Gotti to D.Stone, D.Stone have been on his grind establishing his new found label D.Stone Records INC. He also got into the digital distribution game and also became publishing administrator. Now in 2012 D.Stone Records INC have become a well known and established Indie label with four labels that D.Stone gives digital distribution deals to, labels such as: Squad Boy Ent., Ballout Records, Top Floor Musiq, Ra Lethal Ent. D.Stone also recorded his first single "Lola Falana" with his new sound and artists beside him such as: Duchess S., Keylow G, DeOzene, Demya, Destiny Stone, Smithstonian, MT Tha Profit, Payne Da Squad Boy, Michael DeAngelo, Ra Lethal, and the newest member Supa Nova.
